5 Classic Christmas Family Movies 2015

It’s getting colder, and darker so soon all we will want to do is snuggle up warm and put on the Christmas movies. So now the family is ready but what do you watch? Here at We Cost Less we love Christmas films of all kinds so we have compiled a list that is perfect for watching with the family. Check out our list below and tell us what you think.

Jingle All the Way (1996)

This is a classic Christmas film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger who sets out to buy his son the must-have toy of the year; A Turbo Man figure. But everything is not as easy as it seems which leaves poor Arnold in heap of mess. The movie is full of laughs and will be sure to leave you all in stitches.

The Santa Clause (1994)

The Santa Clause is another classic you must have watched as a kid. The story follows a man who accidently kills Santa which in turn means he has to become Santa. With an army of elves and his son by his side they must deliver all presents in time for Christmas. Kids and adults alike will find this film hilarious.

Home Alone (1990)

Who hasn’t watched Home Alone? If you haven’t we don’t know where you have been hiding. When Kevin, 8 years old, is left at home accidently whilst the family go on holiday his wish to have no family comes true. Everything changes though when two burglars try to rob his house and he must do what he can to stop them. He pulls of some great pranks that will have you laughing over and over.

Elf (2003)

Accidently sent to the North Pole as a baby Buddy (Will Ferrell) has to be raised by Elves. Buddy doesn’t fit in and wants to go back home to find his real father. Problem is his father doesn’t believe him so once proven through DNA the childish Buddy must do what he can do to start a relationship with his father. Providing plenty of laughs along the way it is great fun for the family.

National Lampoons: Christmas Vacation (1989)

When Clark Griswold (played by Chevy Chase) sets out to have the perfect Christmas with his family. We all know when we want something to happen as planned….it never works. Instead his hick cousin and family turn up uninvited and Clarkes employers mess up his Christmas bonus. All this unfortunate series of events leads up to a fantastic Christmas story that will have everyone laughing.
